THE GALILEO OBSERVER
A Monthly Newsletter of the
Galileo Alumni Association

VOL. I, NO. 9                                                                    December, 2003

A HOLIDAY MESSAGE FROM THE EDITOR

As the year 2003 draws to an end, we take this opportunity to thank you for your support during the past eleven months.  During the year we published and emailed to alumni eight issues of The Galileo Observer.

In the coming year we hope to further expand this newsletter and reach more alumni, and, as we said in our first issue, to make it “serve as a binding factor to renew friendships, share high school memories, and help our school achieve its present day goals”.

This year the Galileo Alumni Association presented two fund-raising galas in the school auditorium and increased its membership.  For 2004, the GAA has many exciting events planned, including Flower Drum Song and the Galileo Sports Hall of Fame Dinner.

We are establishing closer ties with The Pendulum and hope to mutually enhance our publications.  Beginning with the next issue in January, we will be mailing the Observer to alumni who do not have access to a computer.

I personally want to thank all of you who have taken the time to write us with your comments and memories.  Keep your emails and letters coming.

As you spend these festive days with your families and friends, we wish you all good things, especially health and happiness.  May the New Year renew your faith in the goodness of life.

HAPPY  HOLIDAYS!
